Firewheel Market is excited to announce the opening of I-CE NY Garland. I-CE NY, the original smashed and rolled ice cream from Thailand, is coming to Firewheel Market. This unique concept began in Thailand in 2011 and was first opened in the United States in 2015 in New York City. Now there are more than 20 locations nationwide.

Smashed and Rolled Ice Cream

So what makes this ice cream unique? First of all, I-CE NY uses a special freezing technique that creates a creamy, smooth product with perfectly sized ice crystals. Because customers can create their own flavor by choosing a base (ice cream liquid), mixers, toppings, and sauce, the final creation is uniquely their own. The process starts by pouring the base and mix-ins onto a custom-designed metal plate that can reach -15 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, specially trained ice cream maestros chop and smash the ingredients into a thin layer. Within two minutes, they shape the ice cream into rolls and serve it to the eager customer. With over seven ice cream base flavors, 20 mix-in ingredients, and more than 32 toppings, your delicious treat is completely customizable.

I-CE NY is also located in Dallas, Carrollton and Grand Prairie and will open shortly in Houston. We look forward to welcoming them to Firewheel Market!
